EU_VET_RDM4.0 is an Erasmus+ KA220-VET project aimed at developing an innovative vocational education and training model for the Rural Destination Manager 4.0. The project integrates digital, green and managerial competences to support sustainable tourism development in rural, peripheral and internal areas.

The initiative addresses the need for qualified professionals capable of managing complex rural tourism ecosystems, enhancing local resources and supporting sustainable territorial development.

WHAT IS EU_VET_RDM4.0?

EU_VET_RDM4.0 is a transnational cooperation project that brings together vocational education providers, universities, public authorities and local stakeholders.

 

The project focuses on the definition and implementation of a shared European training model for Rural Destination Managers, capable of responding to current transformations in the tourism sector, including digitalisation and sustainability transitions.

Integrated methodological approach

The project develops a multidisciplinary and intersectoral training framework combining tourism, management, sustainability and digital innovation.

Strong digital component

Through the development of the RDM-LEARNING_4.0 environment, the project enhances accessibility and innovation in vocational training.

Training is tested in real rural contexts through pilot activities, ensuring practical relevance and scalability.
